In a perfect world, everyone would be using valid charge codes and regime codes. There would be no declaration of a ‘part night off’ regime code against a dimming charge code. There would never be CMS charge codes used against PECU driven regime codes. No summary would contain invalid MLSD regime/charge code combinations. Everyone would use only the codes issued by Elexon.

But as we know all too well, this is not a perfect world. These mistakes and many other like them can cause problems, if only over/under billing. Mind you, with every penny accountable these days, that’s quite a serious matter.

We also know that a summary file can be a blur of numbers… one just rolls into the next and manually checking for these mistakes is time consuming, tedious, and not always accurate.

Because of this, we’re launching a new service to validate your summary files against a rule set unique for your company.

It is an automatic email based system. You email the summary file to us and within minutes, we’ll send you back a report highlighting anything that’s flagged up by your rules. You can send it as many times as you like, so there’s no reason the summaries can’t be as near perfect as possible.

With a base price of £15 (plus VAT) per Sub Meter ID per month, it’s cost effective too. Discounts are available, depending on how many Sub Meter IDs you wish to process.
